"Kim provided me with different components of weight training in an effective, attainable, and safe workout, to achieve the goal of losing fat and gaining muscle. In addition to being very knowledgeable, Kim also takes the extra effort to push you to the next level. After my sessions with Kim, I walked away feeling like I had accomplished more that I ever thought possible." ~~ Misti Harris
I had no motivation and did my workouts because I knew I should. I felt I was just going through the motions without getting any benefits. My Dad designed a workout and nutrition plan for me. I still had trouble with motivation. Then I started working out with him. I could certainly tell the difference. He gave me that little extra push I needed to get the most out of my workouts. With the workouts he plans for me, and now that he has shown me how to get most of it, I can workout on my own and feel I am getting more from the workout. He has been a big help in helping me meet the goals I have set for myself. ~~ Kimberly Gomez
Before I began training with Kim my workout routines were not very effective. I had little knowledge of how to achieve my goals and I was unwilling to push myself. I wasn't maximizing my time at the gym. I explained to Kim that I wanted greater endurance and a stronger upper body, so he designed a workout routine specifically for me. Besides the workout plan Kim created a meal plan. While weight loss wasn't a high priority of me, the meal plan did raise my level of awareness about the proper foods to eat. Since I have been working with Kim, I have found that my physical limits and abilities are greater that I thought possible. Kim has added a level of discipline to my workout routine that was missing. He also emphasizes proper lifting techniques to avoid injury. Kim changes the workout routine often so I don't get bored doing the same ex cerises week after week. I work out three times a week and work out with Kim once every other week. I don't mind the days when I workout on my own because I have a specific workout plan with goals. My workouts have purpose and meaning. ~~ Rene Bouchey
In the past, my physical work-out routines have been generally unchallenging and minimally effective. At 43 years of age, I knew it was time to take a new approach in the lifetime outlook of my physical well being. In the past 4 months, I have been under the direction of Kim Foster. In this short period of time, I am in the best physical shape since my high school days. Kim has developed a training program designed for my goals and needs. His training program provides me the challenges I need to get to the physical level I want as well as make the effort I put forth an enjoyable experience. ~~ Kevin Bouchey

I started my exercise program with Kim in February 2006. Since then I have felt so much better! Kim provides the encouragement and incentive that keeps me exercising. I've gained stability and flexibility and lost weight Kim has helped me push myself far beyond what I could have done on my own. It has been a great experience and so convenient right here in Zillah. ~~ Sheryl Weber
About two years ago, I began coming to the Mid-Valley Nautilus, on the advice of a chiropractor, for shoulder and neck pain. Our family health history includes diabetes, heart problems and osteoporosis as well. The exercise helped the pain but I didn't know how to progress beyond few reps on each machine in the beginning routine. I knew that I would get bored and quit. An athletic friend encouraged to consider working with a trainer. I asked Kim if he would help me. The first thing he asked for was a list of gaols from me What did I want to accomplished. This made me think and dream a little. I wanted to regain strength and endurance to be able to ski and climb Mt. Adams From this , Kim evaluated where I was had helped me set some realistic gals for fat loss and muscle gain this include nutrition al plans an workout routines. The daily routines and menu plans were so achievable to me. I had a plan I could accomplish each week. This helped me to stay motivated I was able to reach the specific goals that we set. Since then I have signed up for more sessions several times at his new studio. Kim's coaching includes designing challenging and interesting workouts, evaluation of progress toward the goals and much needed accountability. He has a great way of encouraging me and pressing me beyond my comfort zone I have gained more strength and endurance that I thought possible I feel great. Although training with Kim does not guarantee that will not suffer from some family health challenge I tell my friends that I consider this to be preventative treatment. I was able to climb most of Mt. Adams! I am already setting my sights to go again and reach the summit. ~~ Leslie Bower
Like a lot of folks, the four of us decide at the beginning of 2006 to get fit. While we all exercised to one degree or another, we didn't have strength training in our routine. Tina read about FOSTER'S FITNESS and asked the rest of us if we'd be interested in training and we all agreed, and Kim agreed to take us on as a group. So, we started our regimen in January with the thought that we'd get the basics and then go out and do it ourselves. Well, four months later we're still coming to FOSTER'S FITNESS because we are confident we're getting instruction to train safely and with the proper body mechanics. We are all very happy with the results of four months of training, as we've have all reduced body fat and weight and increased our strength -- and it's been fun doing it as a group of friends with the same goals and motivation. ~~ Tina Glockner, Penny Duran, Nancy Hultbrg, Debbie Amos
I know that exercise is good for me but I just don't do it consistently on my own. With Kim's help, I have been consistent in exercising two days a week for months. Kim worked with me until we found a schedule that I could maintain. Every time I go, he's there with his plan for my exercise. I don't have to think about it; I just need to stick with step 1: "show up and do it." I feel like I am finally starting to get healthier instead of sitting around getting weaker and weaker. ~~ LeaIla Gregory
I am a 53 years old and baby sit my 5 small grandchildren everyday. By the time the kids went home for the day, I was exhausted. Thanks to Kim Foster's Fitness, I watch therm, go exercise (3 nights a week) and still have energy left. I have lost weight and inches, and am wearing a size I have never worn in my life. My cholesterol and blood pressure are at an all time low. The thing I like most is just showing up and dong what Kim has for me to do. I don't have to think about a thing. I know with Kim's help and support I can maintain my wellness. I never dreamed all this was possible before Foster's Fitness. Thanks Kim for being there! ~~ Cathy Laws
In November of last year (2005) my mom and I took a look at ourselves and noticed that both of us were always complaining of being overweight and just not liking it. We were really looking forward to the Holidays, but definitely not the additional weight gain it seems to bring with it. I was talking with Cathy Laws, a very good friend of mine, and telling her how my mom and I were complaining about our weight. She then told about a fitness center that she had been going to. She said that Kim Foster, a personal trainer, has been working with her and she had already lost 15 pounds. She invited me to come check it out and bring my mom with me. I really thought that my mom would not want to go, as she is very self conscious of working out in front of others. I thought that if I could get her to check it out, that with just a personal trainer and me in the room, she would like to do this. On that Wednesday, my mom asked me if I wanted to go check it out , so we did. After observing Cathy's workout with Kim, and talking to him about the nutrition program, my mom said she would like to do this. I was really surprised, as normally she would say that we would think it over and never end up doing it. I was concerned that my mom would not stick it with it, as she has had a partial knee replacement, which has caused her extreme pain in that knee, as well as needing a knee replacement in her other knee. She also has Parkinson's disease which is currently affecting both of her legs and her right arm. It is now the middle of November, a year later, and we are still going at least twice a week. My mom is making great progress in several areas. The pain that she has always had after her knee replacement is now gone most of the time. She has found that as long as she continues to exercise, the pain stays away, but if she waits to long between times to exercise, she tends to get stiff and her knees will bother her. She and I both have found that our muscles were extremely weak when we started. As we continue to exercise, we have noticed an increase in energy and that our muscles are getting stronger. A year ago, my mom was unable to get up off the floor without assistance, but now she can do this using her own strength. It has been extremely wonderful to see the improvement in my mother's health and see how much her strength is returning. I feel that as we work with Kim and the positive attitude he always has, we will continue to thrive in our lives, to do better nutrition and physical fitness ~~Julie L. Hendren
| As my husband recently stated. "It has been a life- altering experience." Now you might be wondering what I could possibly be referring to and if you are -- it was our decision as a couple to go Kim Foster's Fitness. We are both, well let's just say we are enjoying mid-life without the crisis, but we both needed a more structured program. We each had our own exercise routine but we wanted more. It has been almost a year now that we have been going, and simply put, the benefits have been noticeable.
So, if you are looking for your own life-altering experience, you might consider weight training with a personal fitness trainer like we did. Kim is wonderful to train with, he is positive in his approach, yet he also pushes us to new goals. You have much to gain and you might even have something to lose! ~~ Katie & Gary Martin |
